I started playing guitar from the age of 5yrs (my father was also a working musician). I then went on to study music right across the board including Classical, Blues, Jazz & Rock. I played my first paid gigs from the age of 14yrs. The process of learning the instrument is a non ending journey, there is always something new to explore. My advice; don't just limit yourself to the guitar, study harmony in general to get the whole picture and the benefits are enormous.

I have worked all over the UK and Europe as a professional musician. I started Hessle Music in 1989 as a Retail and Tuition business and there is never a dull day in this place !!
